Paul McHugh of the San Francisco Chronicle accompanied one of our Tatshenshini-Alsek departures with the Dauenhauers one summer not too long ago and wrote a fine journalistic piece of his travels down this spirited river. The article came out in a magazine called EcoTraveler just after trip. The article entitled "The Wild Run" can be read in its entirety by sending us an e-mail and asking us to send it to you.

In March of 1997, Lynn Ferrin, editor of the California State
Automobile Association's Motorland Magazine accompanied our Classical
Music, Wine Tasting and California Gourmet Cuisine trip on the
Rogue and wrote a delightful account of her exploits.
The magazine changed its name to Via and this article graced its
